☕ The Ultimate MAGO MAGA Roma Pro (V1.5) Home Roasting Guide: From Green Beans to Masterpiece

In less than 10 minutes, you can enjoy a professional-grade roasting experience right at home. Whether you're a beginner to coffee roasting or a seasoned aficionado chasing the ultimate flavor, the Roma Pro helps you effortlessly master the soul of every coffee bean.

Follow this guide to start your personalized roasting journey:

Step 1: Prep & Weigh

The Roma Pro is designed for daily home use, supporting flexible batch sizes.

  • Optimal Capacity: We recommend roasting between 80g to 300g of green coffee beans per batch. (Do not overload, as it may restrict hot air circulation and affect roasting uniformity).

  • Important Note: This appliance is strictly for roasting green coffee beans. Do not put other items inside, and NEVER attempt to use it as a coffee maker to brew coffee.

Step 2: Select Your Roasting Mode

Once powered on, you have full control via the intuitive digital display (featuring a °C/°F switch for global convenience). The Roma Pro offers dual modes to meet different roasting needs:

🟢 Auto Mode (Perfect for Beginners & Quick Daily Roasts) Features 5 smart preset roasting profiles for one-touch flavor:

  1. Light: Highlights bright, fruity acidity and floral notes.

  2. Light Medium: A perfect balance of sweetness and acidity with rich layers.

  3. Medium: The classic everyday taste, with initial nutty and chocolate notes.

  4. Medium Dark: Increased body, lower acidity, and richer flavors.

  5. Dark: Bold, intense, and bitter—perfect for pulling espresso shots.

🎛️ Manual Mode (For Advanced Roasters & Enthusiasts) If you want to replicate a specific flavor profile or conduct cupping experiments:

  • Heating Control: 1-18 levels of precise heat adjustment.

  • Fan Control: 1-18 levels of fan speed adjustment.

  • Real-time Monitoring: Through the double-layer heat-resistant glass window, you can clearly observe the beans' color changes and listen for the crisp "first crack" to adjust your settings on the fly.

  • Note: When roasting decaf green beans, we highly recommend using Manual Mode for the best results.

Step 3: Auto-Cooling

Rapid cooling immediately after roasting is crucial to lock in flavor and crema.

  • The Roma Pro is equipped with a powerful quick auto-cooling fan cycle that drops the beans' temperature to under 55°C in a short time, preventing any over-roasting.

  • Thanks to the enclosed double-walled container design and efficient hot air system, the entire process produces ultra-low smoke, keeping your air fresh even in a modern home kitchen.

Step 4: Clean & Store

  • Smooth Ejection: The upgraded Version 1.5 features a highly reliable bean bin door switch mechanism, allowing you to dispense your freshly roasted beans smoothly in a single shot.

  • Chaff Cleanup: The machine comes with a large, removable chaff collector. To ensure safety and optimal hot air heating efficiency, please empty the chaff after every single roast.

  • Resting Beans: We recommend storing your freshly roasted beans in an airtight container with a one-way degassing valve for a few days. The flavor profile will reach its absolute peak after resting!

⚠️ Safety & Disclaimer The Roma Pro is a high-temperature roasting appliance (up to 1800W). Never leave the machine unattended while in operation. Do not overload the machine with green beans. Always clean the chaff collector regularly to prevent overheating, fire hazards, or equipment damage. Damage resulting from misuse, negligence, or failure to follow cleaning instructions is not covered under warranty. The appliance contains fragile components like glass and is strictly NOT Dishwasher Safe.
