This Founder Edition is an early-production model offered to a limited number of users while we continue testing, refining, and improving the product. It delivers the core ROMA-X roasting experience, but it is not the final retail version.

In exchange for accepting the characteristics and possible limitations of a first-generation product, Founder Edition customers receive special early-access pricing and the opportunity to help shape future ROMA-X updates.

Why Is the Founder Edition Priced Lower?

The Founder Edition is offered at a special price because it is part of our early-user testing program.

The machine’s core roasting functions are available, but some features and user-experience details are still being optimized. Early users may encounter firmware changes, app limitations, interface adjustments, or occasional performance issues.

This edition is best suited to coffee enthusiasts who enjoy trying new technology, are comfortable with a developing product, and are willing to share feedback.

If you prefer a fully finalized consumer product, we recommend waiting for the official retail edition.

Flexible 100–300 g Batch Sizes

Roast small experimental batches or prepare enough coffee for several brewing sessions. ROMA-X supports green-coffee batches from 100 g to 300 g, giving you flexibility for different beans, roast levels, and brewing methods.

Batch performance may vary depending on bean density, moisture content, origin, and selected roast level. Do not exceed the maximum recommended loading capacity.

Easy, Guided Roasting

Explore 266 built-in origin-based roast profiles and six roast levels, ranging from light to dark.

The guided control system monitors roast conditions and adjusts operating parameters in real time to help users achieve more repeatable results.

For greater control, switch to Manual Mode to create your own roast curves and save up to 50 custom profiles.

Built-in profiles are starting points rather than guaranteed results. Coffee beans vary naturally, and users may need to adjust profiles to match their beans and preferences.

5-Inch Color Touchscreen

Follow each roast on the full-color touchscreen. View the roast curve, development stages, and real-time operating data, including:

• Bean temperature
• Air temperature
• Rate of rise
• Heating power
• Fan speed
• Roast progress

Because this is an Early Access model, interface elements and displayed data may change through future firmware updates.

Cleaner Indoor Roasting

Built-in smoke filtration and active chaff collection help reduce smoke and loose chaff during roasting, making ROMA-X more suitable for home use.

Under certain test conditions, the filtration system has demonstrated up to 90% smoke reduction.

Smoke reduction varies according to bean type, batch size, roast level, filter condition, ventilation, and environment. ROMA-X does not eliminate all smoke or odors. Always operate the machine in a well-ventilated area and follow the user manual.
